If someone is not on your block, they should not see your lunch special. From Only Now treats offers and ads as location products, not as banners stapled onto a national feed.

Offers can stay free

A business profile can publish an offer with a title, description, media, radius, and hours. Payments for offers are off by default. When they are on, the price is days × kilometres × the offer rate. Either way, the offer only appears nearby, during the window you set. You can omit an end time for an open-ended live offer; it stays on the map until you take it down.

Ads are marked as ads

Sponsored ads use a radius and a schedule. Paid ads still need an end time so the charge has a clear stop. In the app they are labelled and styled apart from captures and offers. That is on purpose: a memory and a promotion should never look like the same object.

PayPal is only the wallet

Wallet top-ups go through PayPal. The map does not become an ad network in the AdMob sense. Views and clicks are first-party counts for the business that paid to be there.
